Crystal Bay Water Quality Improvement Project
Construction project elements include: curb and gutter, porous pavements, storm drain system and water quality treatment vaults, water quality infiltration basins, and mechanical/vegetative stabilization of cut/fill slopes along the existing public road system.
Project design conforms to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) Environmental Improvement Program for water quality retrofit. The project also includes preparation of NEPA compliance documents for both funding agencies (United States Forest Service and Nevada State Lands) and follows the guidelines set by the Nevada Tahoe Conservation District. Construction is scheduled to be completed in October 2009.
