Long Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) Western Regional Support Contract
NCE has been proud to have continuously performed data collection, database management, agency coordination, and analysis for almost twenty years as the Western Region’s contractor on the LTPP program.
The scope of this contract includes:
- Collection of site specific data from the LTPP test sections in the Western Region.
- Coordination of data collection efforts of other contractors and highway agencies.
- Quality control of data and services provided to FHWA.
- Data reduction, processing and transmittal to NIMS
- Limited analysis and summarization of data
In addition to the activities listed above, the NCE team developed and implemented a Quality Control Plan for WRSC operations improving the overall quality of services provided to FHWA. Significant effort was also expended in successfully conducting materials sampling as part of the SPS MAP. This included coordination with agencies to arrange sampling, development of sampling plans, participating in sampling activities, labeling/packaging/shipping samples, as well as populating the Materials Tracking System. The team has excellent working relationships with all entities involved in the project be it FHWA, the other contractors (Regional, Technical Support, and Data Analysis), or the 14 agencies in the Western Region.
